About the event

The Elegance of Beer
Camber represents a space for collaboration and exploration. We live in the best region in the world to grow and to create. Wine anchors us, but there are so many more artists of beverage just waiting to be discovered.
Join us as we begin our Elegance of Beer journey where we explore the nuances of craft beer and move the dial of how it is perceived. Much like wine, fine beer is enriched with layers of flavor that compliment and contrast cuisine.
Camber's Chef Collective is joining together with Northern California's top beer makers to create a series of thoughtfully paired tasting menus featuring local ingredients and producers. Each dinner will showcase a different brewery and will shine an elevated light on their craft.
July 30th, 2025
with Moonlight Brewing Company and Advanced Cicerone Adam Zuniga
Since founder Brian Hunt's first batch in 1992, Moonlight has been producing some of the world's most unique and refined beers. The process is considered pre-industrial, using a single-step infusion mash and boil in a direct fire copper kettle. The resulting Continental, British and post-modern American-style ales and lagers have received international recognition including a Gold Medal from The Great American Beer Festival in 2022.
Much like with the mind of a chef, every element is considered. Beers are brewed with a variety waters to accentuate unique characteristics and over 25 different barley, wheat and rye malts are included in the processes. Other ingredients include local and international hops, redwood branch tips, cedar, fruit and herbs. The final product, whether a Lager, Ale, or Saison is as complex as it is elegant.
Most importantly, the 20 barrel brewhouse has no computers, "requiring kinship between raw ingredients, equipment, and brewer in order to produce each beer". There is little sense of a recipe. Only sight, smell and taste (and some lab gadgetry) determines if a beer is worth of release.
In addition to Moonlight's team, the beer pairing and service will be led by one of only 170 Advanced Cicerones in the world and Master Cicerone candidate, Adam Zuniga. Adam brings a wealth of knowledge, not just in beer but in the realm of spirits, mixology and wine. He is the creator and host of the No Life 'till Lager Podcast as well as an actor and creative producer. Adam is a veteran of the beer industry and has made waves on both coasts. He holds a deep appreciation for the complexity of Moonlight's lineup of elegant craft beers.
